Cornel Joubert qualified as a dietician at North West University in 1997 and obtain a master’s degree in 2005. She worked in the public sector for 10 years. She is in private practice since 2009 in Potchefstroom that also serves the greater Potchefstroom area including Parys, Fochville, Carletonville and Ventersdorp.

She is registered with the HPCSA (Health Professional Council of South Africa – Pr.No. 8410550) and is also a member of ADSA (Association for Dietetics in South Africa).
