Below are four of the most commonly used herbs used to flavour a variety of food, sauces and gravies.
Basil

- Great for container gardening or in garden beds
Thyme

- Grows well in an indoor garden and a sunny window.
Parsley

- Grows best outdoors. It is a slow-growing herb, therefore it is recommended to buy a young parsley plant late in summer and bring it indoors to mature.
Sage

- Grows well indoors and thrives in light
